"We recently had our kitchen and 4 bathrooms remodeled by Cranmer's.
Kristin, our designer was excellent. She was very helpful in every respect as well as being a genuinely nice person. Tom, our project manager was very competent, organized and professional. His staff reflected his leadership. All of the subcontractors that Tom works with were also very good. The finished product was beautiful. This is a good company to do business with and they have done a lot of work in our neighborhood and were highly recommended."

"Cranmer’s Kitchens remodeled my kitchen three years ago and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Tad was my designer and he was wonderful. The men that did the install were fabulous. Neat, clean and answered any of my questions. There is no doubt in my mind that I would use them again. My kitchen isn’t huge, but it works like a well-oiled machine. Everything is at my fingertips. I am an interior designer and I would recommend them to all my clients.

"Short deadlines, Boro Inspectors, and an old house where nothing is square or level – none of these obstacles were a match for you and your team’s professionalism. We heartily thank you for designing and crafting our beautiful new kitchen.
From the beginning, you brought us ideas and a keen sense of dialogue through which we landed on some of the best aspects of the design such as the under window bench storage, the two matching bookend cabinets, and moving the refrigerator to a different wall to create an entrance nook. Our two-toned cabinet color scheme is something everyone loves as they enter the kitchen – another of your ideas that I use to explain the value of your services.
The installation team were the best. While they were fast to complete the kitchen and friendly throughout, what struck us was how much they liked their work and how their standards were as high or higher than ours.
Thank you for what has become the center piece of our house.
PS, three years later: Tad, I felt you would want to know that after three years of living with the kitchen, we can report it is a huge success. Bedroom and Master Bathroom in Pennington, NJ
"It has been just about one year since Cranmer’s Kitchens completed our bedroom and master bathroom project. We were working with a 1987 bedroom and bathroom which needed to be completely reconfigured. Tad Troilo and his team did a fabulous job helping us redesign the allocated space to make it more efficient and, of course, attractive. Tad’s team of professionals from plumbers to decorators were pleasant, respectful and responsive. Tom Hawe, who was Tad’s Project Manager, was incredibly neat in terms of minimizing the disruption to our home and cleaning up every day at the end of the day. Tom initially presented us with a pretty accurate schedule for the entire project and his team was at our house on time every day and if there was a change in the schedule, they contacted me right away. Cranmer’s Kitchens struck a wonderful balance of guiding us through the decision making process without pushing us too fast or delaying us when we were anxious to move ahead.
We think it is important to mention also how much we appreciated Cranmer’s Kitchens’ focus on our project and only our project until it was completed. We will consider their talent again when we redo our kitchen."
Kitchen and Bathroom in Princeton, NJ
"I have had Cranmer’s do a kitchen and bathroom for me. I worked with Tad, who had great references from others in my area for whom he had completed (much larger, bigger budget, and subsequently more beautiful) kitchens. The projects I did were in a duplex in Princeton, and the size of each space is SMALL.
To stay on budget, we kept the basic layout of the spaces the same. Tad had great ideas to use the space better, but we would have had to move a door and do some other adjustments, and the house is a rental (I’m the landlord) so I wasn’t up for the increased investment. If I were living there myself, I would definitely have reconfigured based on his advice and I would have used Wood0Mode cabinets which is what I have in my own house.
As it is, I selected Brookhaven (the lower-cost line in Wood-Mode) cabinets in the kitchen. It’s been 5 years and the kitchen (with tenants living there) is in great condition, so I can definitely speak to the quality of the cabinets. We used Corian on the counters – easy for tenants. The estimate was spot-on – Tad definitely thinks ahead of time about whether changes to electrical and HVAC will be necessary (we needed to move both to accommodate the new cabinets), so you don’t need to worry about significant surprises when it comes to finishing the job. When the whole kitchen was installed, he wasn’t thrilled with the appearance of the cabinet at the end of the peninsula and ordered an extra piece of cabinet detail to add to make it look better – he has a good sense of aesthetic and detail.
Cranmer’s employees who installed the kitchen (and a year later the bathroom) were such genuinely nice people, they were pleasant to be around and were clean. Just a superlative group to work with. I would recommend Cranmer’s/Tad Troilo/their whole crew without hesitation. The estimate may come out higher some competitors, but you won’t be faced with change orders later. And the work will be perfect. (Another bonus for me - Tad lives in Princeton, so if you live in the area, he will stop by your project personally to check on the progress.)"
Two Kitchens in Yardley, PA
"We had Kristin from Cranmer’s design the kitchen on our $150,000 addition seven years ago and were so happy with the results that we asked her for her help with when we decided to downsize to our two-bedroom condo in a 55+ community.
On the first job, we had gotten Kristin to design the kitchen, but had used our own contractor. This time, since all we were doing was the kitchen reno, we chose to use Cranmer’s contractor, Tom, too.
We worked closely with both Kristin and Tom to iron out any details and to prepare for the job so that the cost was reasonable given the size and cost of our unit. While the job was initially rather more expensive than we had wanted, we were all able to work together to come with a great plan at a reasonable cost.
We decided on the stock cabinets, rather than semi-custom, to save money and are very happy with our choice. Even the laminate counter-tops look great because we found a beautiful – rather than builder’s grade – drop-in sink. We completely remodeled the kitchen – took it down to the studs and started over.
While the design and planning were well executed – the most impressive part of the job was the renovation itself. The work started on a Monday. I don’t know method of demolition was used, but I came home to a kitchen that had been completely removed and a sparkling clean space in its place. The work steadily progressed with not a single day passing without some progress being made. Incredibly enough, the job was done by the end of the 4th week.
And, the kitchen is beautiful. Great attention to detail. The cost actually ended up to be less than estimated because less electrical work needed to be done than initially thought. Even my neighbors thought it was a wonderful experience. I’ve heard many compliments about how nice and friendly the crew was.
I’m so happy with the result that I’m just waiting to accumulate some funds before I have everyone back to remodel the bathrooms!"
Kitchen Design and Cabinets, Princeton, NJ
"Cranmer’s designed kitchen layout and provided cabinets and advice on other features in the kitchen. My contractor who was working on the project was unable to execute some of the more difficult parts of the kitchen cabinet installation. Since the cabinets had been purchased at Cranmer’s, I called Tad Troilo to see if he could help. He sent his installers over to the house to troubleshoot and coach my contractor. When that didn’t work, he had his own installers come to my house to finish up the project. Tad could not have been more helpful. Advice: Have Cranmer’s do your kitchen project from design through installation."

"We hired Cranmer’s based on their excellent referrals. Kristen was our design contact and did a fantastic job of learning our needs for our kitchen, laundry and powder room and then designing the plan to fit those needs. When the job started, Tom and his crew were superbly professional in all that they did. We had a dumpster on-site the entire time. The crew was there each and every day to work on the project. They were professional and respectful in their work hours and their work progress. They cleaned up at the end of each day. They answered all of our questions and made changes where we requested them. We had some “extras” that we thought of after the construction started. Cranmer’s handled all of these with the understanding that it often happens during construction and they were able to accommodate all of our new requests/questions/changes/concerns/etc. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cranmer’s to anyone doing a remodeling project. Other friends who have gone through a similar process all have a negative story to tell about their experience. One of the best things we can say about Cranmer’s is that we have no “bad story” to tell. Every issue or concern that we had was immediately addressed. You can’t go wrong with this company. Post construction, whenever we called with a question or an issue, they came back to help us through it. We’re thrilled with the kitchen. It gets rave reviews from all who come to our house. In our experience, Cranmer’s is a stand-up company who offers first-rate customer service and superior quality work."
